“There are a significant number of proposals to be endorsed to the following agencies, currently there are 899 from UP Manila, 137 from the NIH (National Institutes of Health), and 612 from the PGH (Philippine General Hospital) [which are] on-going projects. UP Manila has actually been the pioneer in the establishment of the IRB (Institutional Review Board) and a Research Grants Administration Office (RGAO),” Vice Chancellor for Research Leslie Michelle M. Dalmacio stated.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job
- Four (4) hours of relevant training
- One (1) year of relevant experience in writing proposals, reports, projects, feasibility studies, proceedings, and publishing research papers (preferred)

The Cotabato Regional and Medical Center (CRMC) is in the process of establishing its own Research Institute (RI) to institutionalize hospital research and align with its vision of becoming the center of health research in BARMM and Central Mindanao. CRMC is conducting a benchmarking activity with UP Manila Research Grants Administration Office (UPM-RGAO) to observe and learn from their strategies and best practices in managing research projects.
